Silver-gilt pin head: a spherical object of gilded silver. A plain band runs around the equatorial circumference of the pin head, dividing it into two equal sized hemispheres. The surface is decorated in each hemisphere with three equal sized circlets of applied, braided wire. Within each circlet are four more, smaller circlets, and a knop projects where the four circlets join. Further knops project from the surface in the voids outside of the three larger circlets, and the largest knop prjects from the "top" of the pin head. Silver seal matrix: a sub-oval shaped face is backed by a stem that tapers into a hexagonal column, out of which sprouts two scrolls that curl under themselves. Two opposing curls attach above these, such that there is a void in the middle of the stem. At the top of the handle is a circular attachment loop. The face is inscribed with a grooved circumferential line, within which are a coat-of-arms.
