Description: A post-medieval gold guinea of James II (1685-8), dated 1688 (Spink 3402). The coin has been pierced near the edge above the bust (i.e. at the 12 o'clock position on the obverse). The perforation is oval in shape due to wear, pulling the edge outwards suggesting the coin was probably suspended as a pendant. Dimensions: 25.1mm diameter. 8.05g. Discussion: This is a coin which has been altered to become a pendant. The wear pattern of the loop suggests it was a well-worn pendant. The object is an incomplete silver-gilt 'eye' element from a two piece hooked clasp. The fitting is sub semi-circular in plan with the straight edge having two broken projections where a loop would have originally been positioned. The breaks are recent. On either side of the fastener there is a circular attachment hole which was used to sew the fitting onto an item of clothing. Description: Post-medieval coin: silver shilling of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) dating to AD 1559-1603. Mint of London. The coin has been heavily clipped. 2.55g Post Medieval coin: silver shilling of Charles I (1625 - 1649). (North 2216 - 2234). Initial mark unknown. Probably mint of London (Tower). 3.38g. Discussion: The coins are likely to represent a small purse loss as the wear pattern and being found in the same findspot suggest they were in circulation at the same time.

Description: The vervel is a flat silver disc which, in section, is rectangular with rounded corners. One face is inscribed with: a six-pointed star Robert │ Lee, Esqr. The reverse is undecorated. Dimensions: Diameter: 13.14mm Thickness: 1.12mm Weight: 0.82g. Discussion: In the 17th Century, Billesley Manor was owned by three successive members of the Lee family with the first name 'Robert'. The gold finger ring is circular in plan. The hoop is a slender D-shape in section and is decorated on the exterior surface with a repeating geometric pattern. The outer face has a moulded design which is in the form of a human head and a long neck, followed by drapery behind which two large wings emerge upwards. Early post-medieval mount, in the shape of an elongated triangle with an integral knop in the centre of the wider end. The front is convex and has traces of a mid grey- green patina. On the reverse there are two integral spikes which are oval in cross-section and bent towards each other. The mount measures 26.98mm long and 10.98mm wide. It weighs 2g. Mounts with bent-over attachment spikes are characteristic of the 16th and 17th centuries and may be from human belts or horse-harness straps (Egan 2005, 39-40).

A silver composite bi-convex hollow button with a wire loop on the reverse. The loop has been soldered on separately. Either side of the loop there are is a small circular perforation. There are two small dents on one side of the button. The surface is slightly tarnished. Buttons of this type have been previously reported as Treasure, for example; 2003 T361 (Ashley, 2003) and 2008 T435 (Richardson and Egan, 2008), dating to the 16th to 17th centuries.

Description: A silver earscoop which has an oval sectioned shank and an incomplete sub-circular bowl at the terminal. The breaks of the bowl are quite recent. The shank of the earscoop emerges from the mouth of a stylised dragon which would have served as the handle to the ear scoop. The handle is fragmentary and the opposite terminal to the scoop has a recently broken edge. At this break, on the back of the dragon's neck, there is an integral incomplete suspension loop. The neck of the dragon, on the side views and base, are decorated with linear scales.
