A worn silver coin, probably a sixpence of William III (1689-1702). The coin is completely illegible and has been folded twice, presumbaly for use as a love-token. Unlike the majority of love tokens which are bent to form an 'S-shape' in profile, both folds on this coin are in the same direction, giving it a 'U' shaped profile.

A worn silver coin. The size suggests it was originally a post-medieval sixpence of William III (1694 - 1702), and has been deliberately smoothed and bent into a very gentle S shape. These features suggest it was re-used as a love token. It measures 20mm in diameter.
