A gold fanam from India. This is probably of the 'English Kali' (otherwise known as the 'old Madras fanam') series and could date from AD 1630 up to the 20th century when copies have been made. 'The Kali fanam designs is based on the Vira Rajam fanam but now more resemble a goddess than the lion that was originally depicted. See H. Herrli, Gold Fanams, p. 75, nos. 3.06.01-7. This piece, at 0.34g, falls into the weight range for thses coins (0.33-0.36g).

Only approximately one quarter of the tubular body survives, the surviving part being from the terminal-end of the whistle. Description: an early post-medieval silver-gilt dress hook of Reads 'Late medieval to late post-medieval Class B, type 3 (Read 2008, 160). The dress hook has a flat triangular backplate decorated with a perimeter of twisted wire filigree. Within the perimeter are three circles also of twisted wire filigree, with a silver pellet in the centre. A fitting is soldered onto the reverse which forms the eye and hook. The fitting is formed from a single wire of silver, and has a large loop at the top and two smaller loops at the bottom.

Description: a post-medieval silver badge or mount. The mount is in the form of an ornate quatrefoil with a raised, flat, circular boss in the centre. Each arm of the quatrefoil terminates with a trefoil; two leaf-shaped knops decorate the space between each arm. The central boss is decorated with four pointed ovals formed by punched dots. In each angle is a sub-triangular leaf formed of punched dots.

The front of the strip is shallowly domed and is decorated with a moulded pattern comprising a rose flanked by springs of foliage. The surface has been gilded. The reverse is bright silver and appears to have once adhered to a larger object.

The object is circular in form and sub rectangular in cross section, with a turned down and slightly flared edge. Its upper surface is decorated with a stamped from the reverse design, which consists of two raised hearts in a mottled field with a crown above (Lewis Form 1, Type A).The design is enclosed within a circumferential solid linear border. Fragment of a copper alloy crucifix of post-medieval date. The fragment is of the hips to the ankles; the body and feet are missing. The figure appears to be shown seated or kneeling, with the legs bent at a right angle at the knees. The bend appears to be original rather than damage. The figure has a loin cloth draped around the waist. A small portion of the abdomen is visible which appears unrobed. The figure depicts the crucified Christ. The bent knees and loin cloth are strongly paralleled on a complete crucifix from Woodmansey, Yorkshire (YORYM-AC18B7).

A post-medieval copper alloy strap fitting. The fitting has lozenge shaped head in the form of a flower. The flower has twelve recessed pointed oval cells, and a raised moulded central bud. A complete copper-alloy Nuremburg jetton of Hanns Krauwinkel II dating to the period AD1586 - 1635. Rose/Orb type. Mint of Nuremburg.
Obverse: HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR around alternating crowns and lis with central rose.
Reverse: GOTTES GABEN SOL MAN LOB (One should praise God's gifts) around Imperial Orb within tressure of three arches.

Fragment of a lead object, probably the butt from a toy gun (1600 - 1700). The toy is probably modelled on the petronel pistol that was popular in the 17th century (Forsyth & Egan, 2005: 97). The fragment is flat, rectangular in plan, and decorated on one side. The decorative side has a raised perimeter enclosing a hatched background and two moulded circles. The panel and decoration are similar to other toy guns, for instance DENO-459EB2.
