A copper alloy probable buckle fragment, likely to be of Post Medieval date, about AD 1600 - 1750. The fragment appears to be one outer edge of a buckle frame. The outer edge is expanded into an oval plate which is decorated with covering stamped ring and dot motifs. The expanded part has a convex outer edge, and convex inner edge. It is broken at one end. A copper alloy fragment of a zoomorphic unidentified object, the surviving piece being in the form of an animal head, probably a horse but possibly a dragon. The date is unknown, but Post Medieval is most likely. The figurine head is single sided. The reverse is shallowly moulded, but is not as pronounced as the front, and there is no eye. A cast copper alloy Post Medieval mount with integral spikes, dating from the 16th or 17th century, AD 1500 - 1700. The mount is in the form of an acorn. The body of the mount is broadly a narrow pointed oval shape with a pointed upper end. Projecting from the lower end at a ninety degree angle is the stalk, bending to the right. There are two integrally-cast spikes for attachment on the reverse face of the mount. Both have been bent inwards towards the centre of the plate. An incomplete medieval to post-medieval cast lead-alloy circular unifaced token of Powell type 3 dating from about AD 1250-1800. The token has a raised design of five straight lines radiating from a pellet at the centre to a pellet at the end of each line at the raised edge. A little of the token has been lost to an old break to one side. The reverse is concave and corroded but does not appear to have been decorated. A cast copper alloy purse bar dating from AD 1450 - 1600. The purse bar has a central rectangular boss with a vertical perforation in the centre. Protruding from either side of the boss there is an integral circular sectioned arm which terminates with a bulbous pointed knop. The loop is missing. The bar measures 69mm long, 12.5mm wide and 12.1mm thick. 17.83g. A silver-gilt dress fitting dating from the 16th century. The object may be a mount from a dress fastener rather than a functional clasp or hook. It is a circular disc with four integral projecting loops positioned equally round the edge, perhaps for sewing or attachment to a garment. Two of the loops have broken off and are missing. A lead musket ball dating from the Post-Medieval period, about AD 1600 - 1850. The ball is hemispherical but may have been broken rather than impacted. There are marks on opposing sides of the flat face that may have been made with whatever damaged the ball. If the flat face is caused by impact, it must have been at moderate velocity against a flat solid surface smoother than stone.The ball is 20.8mm in diameter and weighs 25.45gm. A post medieval copper alloy shoe buckle chape or plate, dating from about AD 1660-1720. The hinged chape has two tubular attachments flanking a slot for the pin, and the plate then tapers with convex sides to a narrow waist. The other end of the chape is missing, so it cannot be classified. The buckle frame and pin are missing. It is 17.5mm long, 15.5mm wide and 3.4mm thick. 1.62g. A copper alloy Post Medieval strap mount probably dating from AD 1500 - 1700. It is sub-rectangular with one end being trilobed and the other having a projecting knop at each corner. It is probably complete though the edges are abraded so it is hard to be certain. The front is decorated with traces of a lozenge pattern design, and traces of gilding.
