An incomplete cast copper-alloy splayed foot, probably from a later medieval to post-medieval vessel. The object is broken just above this 'ankle', revealing a leg of sub-triangular cross-section with a probable central moulded rib. The foot has one flat side at the back and two concave sides. One of the sides of the base is worn perhaps indicative of how the object stood when in use. The splayed foot terminates in a splayed hoof-like form, this form of foot is comparable to the that published in Butler et al. (2009, 4; ref. 4b) dated to the late 15th or early 16th century.
