Post medieval copper alloy buckle of 16th to mid 17th century date The buckle is complete and is of oval, double-looped type, with an integral suspension loop at the base (with an overall length of 53.7mm, a width of 39.1mm and a weight of 13.0g). The oval frame (43.1mm long) is concave across its width (giving a depth of 5.8mm) and the sides are bevelled on the rear (with a thickness of 1.6mm - 2.7mm). The object is a decorative silver gilt finger ring. The hoop, which is of flattened D cross-section, has a break and is distorted. The outer surface is decorated with narrow bands comprising an engraved ring dot with four short 'spokes' (?stylized flower or star), separated by bands of raised dotes (each having eight rows). The band width is 8mm, band thickness 2.4mm and weight 9.987g. The ring has not undergone any cleaning or conservation. The object is a silver bodkin-type dress-pin with ear scoop on one end, and tapering to a point at the other end. The shaft has a flattened quadrangular cross-section, and engraved on both sides between the head and threading hole is a flower-head motif, with a flower repeated below the eye. Description: Silver object in the form of a trefoil-shaped blunt hooked clasp, fractured across trefoil, with traces of a repair on the hook. Silver gilt dress-hook with a square-shaped back-plate cut from a sheet and cusped around the edge, which is perforated. A separate hook and bar loop have been soldered to the back. Ten copper halfpence of which seven certainly of William III (1694-1701) and the others probably the same reign. Two are dated 1698 and 1699; remaining dates illegible. All of these coins show a good deal of circulation wear and it is likely that the group was lost or deposited during the middle or later years of the eighteenth century.

Copper alloy strap hooked fitting with loop attachment, of Post Medieval date, and probably dating to the first half of the 17th century. The mounts were likely to be associated with a sword belt and scabbard. The hooked fitting (44.7x17.8x10.1mm) is convex and has an outward-turning hook. The panel is oval and simply decorated with two central incised lines. The mount has a knop at the apex and was secured by two rivets and. The associated looped fitting (30.9x12.3x2.7mm) is still attached to the mount and comprises a loop above a collar. The panel has a single large iron rivet at the base.

Copper alloy rectangular framed buckle with central bar, of Post Medieval date, probably 17th century. The buckle is concave along its length; the outside edge of the frame at both ends is sub-triangular. The side of the frame are angled inwards slightly and have a rounded knop at the position of the central bar. The buckle has retained the pin, which is of D-shaped section and has a transverse ridge. The frame was originally tinned, but is otherwise plain.

Cast lead alloy strap hooked fitting of early Post Medieval date, and probably dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. The mount is likely to have been associated with a sword belt and is gently convex in profile. The rear has two integral rivets for attachment to the strap. The front is crudely decorated with cast ornament consisting of a raised border around a circular panel and two irregular openings flanking a raised ‘V’ at the base. The hook is outward-turning and is of circular section.

Corner fragment of a glazed floor tile of early Post Medieval date, probably from the late 16th or 17th century. The maiolica floor tile has a tin glaze composed of a dark brown manganese design on a white background. The design is composed of circular brown interrupted arcs flanking a repeating leaf motif. The tile is likely to be a continental import, possibly from the Low Countries.

Cast flat disc in white metal or tin-lead alloy. The disc has cast decoration on one face depicting a clock face. The face has a raised beaded border before a plain section and the central clock face, consisting of roman numerals set between concentric circles. The numerals are divided by a single raised pellet.
