Post medieval copper alloy buckle, probably of 17th century date The cast buckle is of unusual three-dimensional and asymmetric form (with a length of 32.5mm, a height of 17mm and a weight of 4.9g). The outside of the frame is curved and bevelled (with a thickness of 1.69mm) with a notch to accommodate the missing pin. The sides are near-straight and parallel (with a width of 15.8mm). Late medieval to post medieval copper alloy purse bar probably of 16th century date The purse is represented by the loop and the bar and is heavily-corroded (with a weight of 32.0g) and is of Ward Perkins (1940, p 168)[1] Type B2.
