A large, Post-Medieval to Modern pewter spoon. The stem is of circular section, terminating in a clean break. The bowl of the spoon is oval and has been flattened from its presumably concave shape. The spoon has suffered considerable damage; the end with the tip and one side becoming truncated: The end of the handle has broken away resulting in only about 20% remaining, the stem has also been bent back over itself down the side of the bowl.
