Rectangular buckle with decorative slightly concave sides, the expanded forward edge is decorated with scrollwork/curvilinear moulding. The strap bar is narrowed and flanked by rearward facing knops that are also decorated with curvilinear mouldings. This artefact dates to the 1500-1650

A copper-alloy double looped buckle. Oval frames that have a six petaled flower with extended forward petal n the forward edge, one frame is truncated. The strap bar is narrowed and flanked a six petaled flower, copper alloy pin is still in place. These buckles date from circa 1550 - 1650. Parallels for this type of buckle can be seen in Whitehead (2003), p66.

Gold finger ring with a D-shape cross-section hoop. The flat inside is engraved with the inscription 'As . God . Hath . apointed . so . am . I . contented'. The outside curved edge is undecorated. Originally circular this finger ring is now slightly squished.
