~~A copper alloy post-medieval knife handle end cap dating from c.16th century. Rectangular block that is oval in cross-section, both faces are separated in to two longitudinal concave panels that are demarcated by recessed borders. On the top the pommel is decorated by recessed crosshatched lines. At the base is a slot where the iron tang is inserted, the tang is still retained in the slot with a small portion protruding from the base.

~~Copper alloy sword belt fitting. The main plate has a central openwork roundel that is flanked by three projecting spikes, to either side are narrow wasted arms that expand into a transverse bar with bifurcated ends, this is where two rivet holes are situated for attachment. At the terminal of one arm is a large rectangular loop with a second circular loop projecting to the side.

Post-Medieval copper alloy sword belt hanger. The object is roughly foliate in form, with moulded decoration forming a leaf pattern, a trefoil shaped terminal and hook at the base. There are two circular fixing holes, one at either end of the plate the top hole is encrusted in iron corrosion that is the remains of the rivet.

~~A copper alloy Post-Medieval knife handle end cap that is sub-rectangular with an oval in cross section; there is a slot in the base for the tang, this area is heavily encrusted with iron corrosion which is the remains of the knife tang. Decoration comprises of a groove runs down the centre of both sides dividing the piece in two; an oval projection with flat terminal decorated with a central grove and three stamped pellets is positioned on each of the top corners. This is probably a stylised form of the opposing hoof style.

Silver gilt dress pin with hollow cast spherical head, applied filigree and granulated ornament in the form of circlets punctuated by knops. A raised horizontal band divides the head in two equal hemispheres. The stem which emanates from the base of the sphere is complete and slightly bent. Similar items can be found on the PAS database (2012 T919, SUSS-6A00B4; 2012 T233, BUC-97FF54; 2012 T66, NMS-020525; 2012 T417, SUSS-60E964). Notes: In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996
