It is comprised of a cast flat openwork plate, of circular form with a sub-rectangular loop above, and a short collared backward-pointing hook below, which tapers to an old break. The centre of the plate is occupied by a heart, with open oval panels and sub-rectangular interstices forming a frame around it.
