A fragment of Medieval to Post Medieval copper-alloy vessel, dating to c.AD 1400 - 1700. A double headed spout remains. The object is Y-shaped and hollow. The spouts are undecorated, terminating in cylindrical collared spouts. The junction of the spout where it would have been soldered to a pitcher is a pointed oval in section. It is trapezoidal in profile with a slight bend and triangular in section, it is undecorated. Height: 24.8 mm Width: 37.4 mm Weight: 65.8 g Cast copper alloy vessels were widely used for cooking over open fires from c.AD 1200-1700 (Butler, Green and Payne 2009:1). This style of vessel is described in Butler & Green (2003: 7).

It is trapezoidal in profile with a slight bend, it is slightly split with two toes at the base. A Post-Medieval copper-alloy vessel fragment, dating to AD 1800 - 1900. The cast separately made foot from a small item of tableware, made in the form of a leonine paw with four claws. It is convex with the paw being raised outwards. There is a drilled hole is set centrally on a U shaped tab to attach this to the bowl of the vessel.
