The doll is in the form of a female figure, both sides of the doll are decorated, the decoration is different on the front and back. Front: The dolls head is semi-circular and appears to be wearing a headdress. A Post-Medieval lead alloy palm guard of dating to c.AD 1500 - 1800. The guard is drop shaped, with one flat side and one domed, giving it a D-shaped profile. The thinner end tapers to a small, rounded point, whilst the wider end is rounded. The flatter side is mostly level save for slight dip in th middle, this is probably from use.
