A cast copper-alloy buckle frame with surviving central spindle and serrated outer edge, separated from the rest of the body by an indented rectangular enclosure. The pin is missing. Though no direct parallel is available in Whitehead (2008), similar examples with the same serration and line morphology are dated between AD 1600-1700 (p.79)

A cast copper alloy probable part of a buckle or horse harness, with a D shaped section connected by two short struts to a thicker bar; this is probably a spindle that would have fitted within a larger frame.

An unidentified cast copper-alloy object that is possibly part of a buckle frame, possibly AD 1600-1700. The lower surface is flat, but the upper is decorated with four irregular quasi-pyramidal bosses. Both ends appear to have breaks that would indicate the object being part of a larger body.

A cast copper-alloy rectangular buckle frame with separate spindle, now missing, corresponding roughly to Whitehead's (2003) dating of AD 1690-1720 (pg 101-102). The upper surface has developed an olive green patina and the rear shows some evidence of tool marks at the corners. Two of the outer corners are damaged.

A post-medieval (AD 1575-1700) cast copper-alloy asymmetrical double-loop buckle (Whitehead 2003, pg 92, similar to Nos. 583 and 584) with possible remains of moulded decoration on the rounded arrow shaped knop and the main frame. The integral central bar is still intact, although the object in general is corroded and appears to have been bent either before deposition or during its time in the soil.

A cast copper-alloy shoe or knee buckle frame, probably dating to AD1660-1720 due to similarities to no. 627 in Whitehead ( pg.99, 2003) with the central spindle having become detached either before or during the period it has spent within the soil. Both sides of the frame feature a moulded pin rest and there are knops at each spindle hole.

A cast copper-alloy buckle of post-medieval date (AD 1660-1720), similar to examples given on pg. 97 of Whitehead (2003), specifically number 599. This design and type were commonly used as knee and shoe buckles. The buckle design is asymmetrical, curved on one side and straight the other, and is drilled to accommodate a central separate spindle. This spindle has an anchor shaped chape, the two arms of which are now reduced.

Half of a cast copper-alloy buckle, similar to examples given on pg. 82 of Whitehead (2003), specifically number 511. Only half of the buckle survives, one of the loops being lost. The remaining section consists of the cross bar and the other loop. Details of mouldings can be seen on the loop, resembling foliate or feather-like patterns. Both ends of the crossbar are connected to rounded knops; all mounding is limited to a side that would have presumably been the front.

A cast copper-alloy sub annular shoe/knee buckle with a drilled frame to mount a separate spindle of postmedieval date (AD 1660-1720), of the same type as example number 605 in Whitehead (2003, p.98). This example is more complete than that in the book, still having the central spindle and tongue intact. The buckle has three round knops at both sides of the frame, the curving connecting bars between them being laterally ribbed. The tongue is 22mm long and consists of two thin sheets of metal. Measurements below are for the frame.

A section of a broken buckle, probably post-medieval (AD 1550-1650) in date, based on Whitehead's (2003) assessment of types, and part of a spectable buckle based on morphology. The pin groove, in this case moderately ornamented, survives, as does a general curvature indication a twin-looped overall shape.

A post-medieval (1720-1750 according to Whitehead 2003) silver buckle, disarticulated, of three sections. The frame is plain, undecorated and of a curved ovoid shape, having the sterling mark of a lion passant. The inner loop and catch/pin are separate, the loop being roughly worked with prominent filing marks, unsmoothed compared to both the frame and pin. This section also has a partially obliterated silver assay mark, possibly indicating a later modification or repair. The frame also bears an inscription reading 'I R', the I having a central horizontal line.

A large buckle of copper alloy, probably of 1600-1700 date but without parallel in available identification literature. The buckle is composed of a one piece cast set of double loops, the cross bar formed at their join supporting the now part-broken catch. The design can be spit into half with a semi-bilateral symmetry; each is composed of two small uneven moustache shaped sections attached at the smaller end by the cross bar and at the larger by a small integrated bar.

A cast copper-alloy 'spectacle' buckle of probable post-medieval date, roughly AD 1550-1650 (Whitehead 2003). The object is roughly a pinched ovoid, with decoration on the front and a smooth undecorated lower side. The design is laterally symmetrical, with what could be stylised foliate moulding at top and bottom and bilobed decoration at the outer ends. In design it is similar to WILT-F6F59B and WAW-08F2ED.
