Heavily worn Post Medieval copper alloy coin.  A halfpenny of George II, young bust dating 1729-1739 AD.  The obverse has the outline of a bust facing left with the legend largely illegible [GEORGIVS] II [REX].  The reverse has the faint outline of Britannia facing left; neither the legend nor the date survives.  The coin has been rubbed smooth and is slightly bent suggesting it may have been used as a love token. The coin has a dark brown patina. (Spink no: 3717). Measurements: Diameter: 26.9mm; Weight: 5.14g; Die axis: 6

A farthing of George II c. 1730-1744.  The obverse has the outline of a bust facing left with the legend only faintly visible reading GEORGIVS II REX.  The reverse has the very faint outline of Britannia facing left; neither the legend nor the date survives.  The coin has a dark brown patina with some areas of pitting.
