Incomplete copper alloy double loop oval buckle with moulded decoration on the loops, dating c. 1550-1650AD. There are grooves on the outer edge of each loop. The strap bar is narrowed and there is moulded detail at either ends of the strap bar. The buckled is flat and undecorated on the reversed. There is some wear on the strap bar, but the majority of the buckle has a smooth pale green patina.

An incomplete Post-Medieval copper-alloy sword belt hanger buckle, dating to c.1500 – 1630AD. The buckle would have had double rectangular loop, but one is now missing. The integral circular suspension loop projecting from one side, below the strap bar, with an internal diameter of 3.9mm, is damaged. The sides of the frame are angled. The object is not decorated. The pendant is in the shape of a stylised flower with 10 petals, or lobes, one of which is extended to provide a longer leg for a small circular suspension hole. At the centre of the pendant is a relief moulded flower with nine petals. The pendant is flat and undecorated on the back. The object appears to be black coated

Small copper alloy ring, possibly a finger ring, most likely of post medieval date c.1700-1850AD.
The ring is formed with a rectangular strip of metal. The bezel is formed from a separate piece of metal in the form of a belt and has been riveted or soldered onto the main hoop. The bezel comprises a line of three square panels, each with a single pellet in each corner. These square panels are flanked by a triangular panel with a pellet in each angle.
The object is worn and pitted with only slight traces of the original surface.

Complete copper alloy one-piece open-work button with integral drilled shank, dating from the late 15th to early 16th century (c. 1480-1580 AD).
The button is bi-convex and hollow. The body is made up of a six-spoked wheel with a central boss with tear-drop shaped openwork. The back is similar but with a and integral shank that is rectangular in section, with a drilled circular hole (internal diameter: 3.2m).

A complete copper alloy Post Medieval mount depicting a cherub’s face, c. 1650-1800AD. The mount consists primarily of a cherub’s face, with neo-classical features, curly hair and rounded cheeks. There are two mirrored 'S' shaped frames that emerge from either sides of the cherub’s face and pass down beneath the face. Fragment of a post-medieval lead button c. 1600-1700AD. The button is decorated with raised pellet at the centre, surrounded by three pairs of arches, all with a double plan border. The reverse is plain and undecorated. There is a clear castling line visible with the stub of a suspension loop which is now missing. The button has a white powdery patina.

An incomplete copper-alloy swivelling fob seal with a rotating double sided seal matrix of Post-Medieval date, c. 1700-1800AD.
Only part of the decorative frame survives. This is flat and would have extended into an openwork handle. Traces of the scrollwork decoration can still be seen. The arch of the frame extends around an oval seal matrix. A rod passes through the centre of the seal matrix to swivel so that both faces could be used.

Two early post-medieval copper-alloy strap fittings from a sword belt hanger, dating to the period 1500 to 1700AD.
Item no. 1 comprises a copper alloy plate that is sub triangular in shape with a trifoliate terminal and decorated with scrolls and foliate motifs. There is a forward-facing hook, the end of which is broken. There are two rivet holes, both of which retain the iron rivets.
Originally this object would have been one of three similar plates, which would have hung from a mount with three suspension loops . See Read 2008, 220 No. 793 for a reconstructed example.

An incomplete copper alloy post medieval dagger chape, c. 1500-1700AD, with possible traces of gilding.
The chape would originally have been conical in shape but has become flattened and bent from deposition. It is made from a sheet of copper alloy and does not appear to have any traces of decoration. At the tip of the chape there is a raised band and a small globe. There are small patches of gilding surviving.

An incomplete copper-alloy post-medieval candle snuffer or wick trimmer, missing most of its handles, dating AD c.1650-1780. The surviving elements consists of two plates connected by a hinge mechanism. The hinge is covered by a domed plate. Projecting from one of plates is an open box. From the other is a flat plate. The handles are broken and missing. The objects had a dark green patina.

Complete copper alloy blunt-hooked and eye clasp of possible post-medieval or modern date (c1650-1800AD).
This object appears to have been cast to give the appearance of being formed from a twist of wire. There are two circular attachment loops (the equivalent of the spirals on the twisted wire examples). These taper into a large, almost circular hook with a central grove imitating two close-butted wires.

Probably an incomplete copper alloy double loop oval buckle, with one loop missing, dating c. 1500-1650 AD, rather than an earlier single loop D-shaped buckle.
The buckle has a narrowed strap bar which has a copper alloy pin attached. There are two broken tabs where the other loop would have been. Both the buckle and pin have a powdery green patina.

A single arm fragment from a pair of sugar tongs, most likely date to the post-medieval to modern period, c.1650-1900AD. The object appears to be me made of copper alloy with traces of a tined surface. The arm is sub-rectangular in section and decorated on the outer face with small dashes and pellet indentations. The broken end curves slightly. The bowl end has an oval bowl in the form of an acorn with details of the decoration picked out with carved/engraved lines. Incomplete decorated uniface copper alloy disc of uncertain date and function, but possibly post-medieval 1650-1800AD. The disc has three triangles cells on the front part of the disc, which may originally have been for glass or enamel inlay. There are no traces of either surviving. These cells are outlined with a thin incised line. Between the cells stylised floral motifs have been engraved, all within a circular border. The reverse of the disc is plain and undecorated.
