Incomplete copper alloy furniture fitting dating to the C18th or C19th (c1700-1850AD). The object is tear-drop shape with a small knop at the base.  It is probably from an item of furniture; a handle or door escutcheon for covering as keyhole. Lead or lead-alloy inkwell of probable post medieval date, c1600-1800AD. The inkwell is broadly octagonal in plan.  In profile the inkwell is broadly rectangular in shape with a domed top. At the centre of the dome is a circular hole, with an internal diameter of 8.4mm, for the ink.  The edges of the inkwell are rounded and the base is roughly cast and slightly concave. The inkwell is a mid-grey colour with a good well-developed patina which covers all surfaces. Measurements: Height: 43.8mm; width: 43.3mm; depth: 44.3mm; weight: 325g

An incomplete copper alloy post medieval dagger chape, c. 1500-1700AD, with possible traces of gilding. The chape would originally have been conical in shape but has become flattened and bent from deposition.  It is made from a sheet of copper alloy and does not appear to have any traces of decoration. Complete clay tobacco pipe bowl dating 1850-1890AD.  The pipe has a cut rim, no internal bowl marks and a stem bore of just over 4/64”.  It has a distinctive hooked spur and is decorated with plain raised ribs on the seams.  This style of decoration emerged around the middle of the nineteenth century, with rib seams being particularly popular during the 1860s and 1870s.  This example can be dated to around 1850-1890, with the middle of this range being most likely.  Measurements: height: 39.7mm; bowl diameter: 21.2mm; Weight: 7.46g

Very worn and damaged English jetton, possibly of Charles II (1649-1685AD).  The obverse is very worn, but it is possible to see part of the legend reading CAROLVS II.  The reverse is also very worn, but there are faint traces of the four crowned shields of England, Scotland and Ireland arranged as a cross. (See Mitchiner No. 1779).  The token had a dark brown patina and is cracked and split in places.  The edges of the token are broken.   Measurements: Diameter: 20.3mm; Weight: 0.42g

Heavily worn Post-Medieval copper alloy coin, possibly a Georgian farthing, c 1760-1820AD).  On the obverse is the outline of a male bust facing right.  The ties at the back of the head are clearly visible suggesting one of the Georges.  On th reverse the seated figure of Britannia facing left is clearly visible. Neither the legend nor date survives. The coin is slightly smaller than other farthings from the eighteenth century, and the flan is quite thin, suggesting that this may be a contemporary forgery. A complete Post-Medieval copper-alloy mount, possibly a sword belt fitting, dating to the period c.1600-1700AD. The mount is broadly triangular in shape with the upper edge slightly concave creating a slight U shape.  There are two circular rivet holes; one above the other.  The mount tapers towards a stepped tab which turns backwards to create a suspension hook/loop.  Attached to this hook/loop is an annular ring measuring 10.1mm in diameter.
