An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy 'seal-topped' spoon, probably dating to c. AD 1550-1650. The surviving portion comprises of the terminal and partially surviving handle, with the bowl missing. The handle terminates in a flat circular knop, with no traces of engraved initials, below which expands a balluster surmounting a second, more highly abraded, but tapering baluster flanked by collars. An incomplete Post-Medieval copper alloy harness pommel, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. One half (divided along the longitudinal median line) of a domed, hollow cylinder, terminating in a small knop at its apex. At its base a small projecting arm, probably perforated, has been lost. The pommel is decorated with incised, double stranded bands which curve around the circumference from the apex, terminating in a double-stranded collar. A small assemblage of copper alloy vessel fragments and casting waste, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1800. Part of a larger assemblage also recovered in the same area, see also DEV-7416D4. This record includes two irregular fragments of copper alloy working waste (weight: 74.8g; 16.8g), a vessel rim fragment with expanded, angular rim (77.1g) and a probable pot leg fragment of Butler, Green & Payne's type A (12.2g). The large amounts of similarly dated fragmentary copper alloy objects and casting waste may relate to recycling activities for a foundry, with examples known locally …

A Post-Medieval copper alloy toy cannon, probably dating to c. AD 1700-1900. The toy is cylindrical, flaring at the mouth and and terminating in a knop at the opposing end. Both trunions survive, expanding from a slightly thickened collar. A crude perforation thorugh a narrowed waist below the terminal knop forms the firign hole. There are two double-stranded incised collars along the length of the cannon's barrel. Dimensions: length 66.8mm; width 19.9mm; thickness 10.4mm; weight 15.29g.
