A Post-Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The strap fitting consists of an oval plate, with a perforated knop expanding from the apex and retaining iron corrosion from a separate rivet. At the base of the plate is a moulded transverse collar, surmounting an old break. The plate is decorated, although now worn, with the decoration cinsisting of a combination of incised lines and punched annulets, in a probable foliate design. A figurative probable Late Medieval to Post-Medieval strap-fitting, probably dating to c. AD 1450-1700. The strap fitting is cast into a three-dimensional representation of a female figure's torso, missing her arms and legs. The figure is cast with details in low relief, depicted with a centre parting and sub-oval eyes, and a relatively neutral expression, although now abraded. A Post-Medieval copper alloy strap fitting, one element of a two-part clasp, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1650. The fitting comprises of a tri-lobed plate, tapering from the shoulders into a rectangular projection at the terminal, crossed by an integral, relatively bulbuous crescentic transverse bar. The plate is perforated twice, once through the central lobe and again preceding the terminal; both retain traces of an iron rivet.
