A Post-Medieval copper alloy button, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1700. The button is circular in plan with a convex front and concave back. The front of the button is decorated with an incised floral design, consisting of a flower of 5 eliptical petals, around a central boss and overlaying a series of concentric bands. A central integral rectangular shank projects from the reverse, with a circular drilled perforation. Traces of an iron link remain within the shank.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy composite button, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1800. The button is circular in plan and plano-convex in cross-section, potentially with a separate back plate suggested by a circumferencial seam. The shank is integral to the backplate and is sub-rectangular, with a drilled perforation. Although obscured by corrosion, the front of the button appears to be decorated with an incised motif comprising of a six-petalled compas flower.

A Post-Medieval lead button, probably dating to the c. 17th century. The button is undecorated, circular in plan and flat in cross section. From the centre of the reverse projects an integral, long, circular-sectioned shank terminating in a circular loop with an undrilled perforation. The shank is flanked by casting seams, and has been bent flat against the button.

A Post-Medieval copper alloy button, probably dating to the 17th century. The button is circular in plan with a convex front and concave back. The front of the button is decorated with a floral design of incised lines and punched annulets. The decoration depicts a central cluster of 7 annulets arranged into a hexagon, with a branch of two incised parallel lines extending at each right angle. Each branch terminates in a further, larger cluster of smaller annulets. A single pointed-oval (of two incised lines) petal fills each quarter.
