A Post-Medieval copper alloy farthing of George I (AD 1714-1727), dating to 1720. Spink 3662.
The coin was wrapped in a small fragment of cloth, now beige but with a circular area of green staining from contact with the copper alloy coin. The cloth is plain weave, and approximately 100 threads per inch. It weighs 0.72g.

A Post-Medieval silver sixpence of William III (AD 1694-1702), dating to AD 1694-1695. Minted in London. Spink no. 3520.
The coin has been pierced centrally by a large circular, drilled perforation, 2.9mm in diameter, from the reverse, which is very heavily worn.
