The mount consists of a lozengiform plate decorated with a foliate motif in low relief with an integral rivet projecting from the reverse, which is plain. An incomplete Post-Medieval lead cloth seal, probably dating to AD 1603-1625. Discs 1 and 2 of a 2- or 4-part seal, disc-1 being stamped with a sub-rectangular deeply incuse stamp, but otherwise plain, disc-2 with the intials I:R. Dimensions: length 24.6mm; width 19.4mm; thickness 3.1mm; weight 6.39g. The intials are probably an abreviation of IACOBVS REX, suggesting an attribution to the reign of James I.

A Medieval to Post-Medieval copper alloy double looped buckle, probably dating to c. AD 1350-1650. The frame comprises of two symmetrical oval loops, separated by a central bar. The bar is sub-rectangular in cross section and both loops are internally bevelled. Traces of a white metal coating survive on the external surface. A fragment of an early post-medieval gold finger-ring, set with a probable emerald. The fragment consists of the bezel and upper shoulders only, and appears to have been heat-damaged. Although now misshapen, the bezel appears to have originally been quatrefoil in form, with a recessed field on each lobe and a raised border along the base. The shoulders project out from the interstice of two lobes on opposite sides, these being plain. A fragment from a Post-Medieval copper alloy spur, probably dating to c. 1600-1850. The surviving fragment consists of a section of one arm, this is subrectangular in plan, tapering slaightly towards one end and with a squat, lozengiform cross section. It is undecorated, terminating in old breaks at either end. Dimensions: length 55.1mm; width 15.2mm; thickness 5.5mm; weight 20.36g. Ellis (1988) notes that spurs became increasingly fashionable in the 17th century, and whilst this example is too fragmentary to be paralleled it is likely that it dates to this period.

A highly abraded Post-medieval ceramic rim sherd, of a local Coarse sandy ware, probably dating to c. AD 1600-1850. A micaeous, sandy oxidised fabric containing frequent coarse quartz and iron stone inclusions, as well as ferrous clay pellets and larger stones. Weight: 20.99g. Sherds of similar fabric were recovered from excavations in Exeter (Allan 1984: 149), probably from a shallow bowl or pan similar to Allan's (1984: 153) form 8.
