Copper-alloy French jetton of late medieval/post medieval date (c. 1488 - 1600). Mitchener 588. The obverse face depicts four fleur de lis in a lozenge, within a 4-arched tressure (three pellets in the angles). The legend, which is heavily worn, likely reads VIVE . LE . ROI . VIVE . LE . ROI.
The reverse features a cross patee feuilly within a 4-arched tressure. There are cinquefoil (or rosette) stops in the legend, which is heavily worn, but likely reads GETTES rosette SEVRMENT rosette GETTES.
