An incomplete lead alloy toy dating from the 19th century (c.AD1800-1900). The object is formed and moulded, with a flattened reverse in the area of the torso suggesting the figure was originally attached to or rested against a larger object. The figure is posed with legs spread apart, leaning forwards slightly with the hands placed on the hips. The figure wears a hat three pointed hat or 'cap n' bells' and the nose and eyes are clearly demarcated in the worn face. An incomplete lead alloy weight of probable Post-Medieval date (AD 1500-1900). The object is sub-oval, with slightly flattened base and apex, and areas of pitting and multiple depressions. There is a single central perforation which runs through the object: at the apex of the object the perforation is a small sub-rectangular slit (c.6.16mm x 2.1mm); at the base of the object the perforation is spherical (c.5.54mm in diameter). An incomplete lead-alloy post-medieval object, probably a commemorative token or medal. The cast object is a circular disc of metal that has been folded or bent, with edges meeting at the one end of the object and flaring at the opposite, so as to form an irregular cone. There is no indication as to whether this occured pre or post-deposition. The object is 29.66mm in diameter, 2.4mm thick and weighs 10.6g.
