 A complete silver pedestal fob seal of Post Medieval date, c. AD 1600-1700. Description: The matrix die is oval with an incused design. The pedestal has six facets with distinct divisions which taper to an integral quatrefoil suspension loop. The die face features an incised circular border surrounding a shield containing a chevron depicted as two parallel upwards pointed lines, surrounded by three cabossed stag’s heads, identified through their outward projecting ears and three-pronged antlers. Description:  Consisting of a flat ring with rectangular cross-section and central perforation, the ring is undecorated except for an inscription on both sides. A complete, but broken, post-medieval silver finger ring, set with a large glass or rock crystal 'gem', dating to the late 18th century (c.AD1750-1800). The band of the finger ring is 'D' shape in section and thin. The applied composite bezel has broken away from the hoop. It has a plain reverse with traces of solder (where the hoop was attached),  and the edges of the collet are crimped and/or beaded.
