An incomplete copper alloy decorated handle, probably dating to the later Post-medieval period (c.AD1800-1900). However, there is a possibility the object may be earlier. The object is subrectangular in form, tapering in towards the middle, and out again towards the base. Complete copper alloy struck Zeeland duit coin of date 1777 - 1792. The obverse features the inscription (star) A (star) ZELAN/DIA/ over three rows, all surrounded by a wide border of draperies. The year is illegible The reverse depicts a crown over a shield-like border surrounding waves in lower portion with upper portion indistict - but very probably a rampant lion emerging out of water. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting or sword belt hangar, in the form of an asymmetrical double looped plate, dating to the post-medieval period, (c.AD 1500-1600). The object is comprised of an irregular asymmetrical plate with two (of three) remaining integral basal loops. The left loop retains its circular suspension-eye, and appears broken at the base; the latter is missing from the central loop. A complete, but misshapen, cast copper alloy finger ring of probable post-medieval date. The bezel is shield-shaped and has been soldered to the band. A join is visible at the solder point on the rear of the bezel, indicating the band was cast and folded to form the (now misshapen) hoop. Some patches of gilding remain on the surface of the finger ring, particularly in the vicinity of the bezel. The metal has a mid brown patina, with patches of active green copper corrosion evident.
