An incomplete silver Half Groat of Charles I (AD 1625-1649). Group D. Ovate garnished shield reverse. Tower of London mint under Charles I. Crown initial mark. AD 1635-1636. Diameter: 17.40mm, Diameter (perforation): 1.55mm, Thickness: 0.62mm, Weight: 0.8g The coin is missing portions of its outer flan and has a circular perforation at 1 O’clock.
