A complete, post Medieval, gold 'posy' finger ring, AD.1600-1720, inscribed Content to Consent. The ring has a decorated exterior to the band and an inscription on the interior. The exterior decoration is made up of a repeating pattern of lozenges bisected by a saltire to form smaller cells, each filled with white enamel. Between the lozenges there is an oval space with a cross fleury with a single pellet in each angle. A complete, silver, post medieval thimble, c.AD.1700-1800. The Thimble is conical with a domed top, the lower third of the piece is decorated with foliate design within crescent shapes. The upper two thirds and the dome are covered in regularly spaced holes, those on the top being round and those on the side being square in shape. There is a square panel in the lower third decorated band that may have contained engraved initials but has worn to illegibility. A broken and incomplete post-medieval silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). Second coinage (North 1997). Initial mark: lion (probably), dated 1566 (on coin). Mint of London (Tower). North (1975, 111). Around 40% of the coin has been lost at one side to an old, straight break. The coin now measures 24.56 mm in diameter, 14.84 mm in width at its narrowest point, and weighs 1.45 g

A complete Post Medieval gold posy finger ring with internal inscription, of late 17th- or 18th-century date. It has a D-shaped or perhaps slightly biconvex cross-section, and an undecorated exterior. There is some damage to the edges of the band, small nicks and impact damage though possibly through use wear. The flattish interior is inscribed with italic letters reading I like . ym . choise * The reversal of the letters in 'my' may be a mistake of the engraver.
