An incomplete copper-alloy mount of post-Medieval date (c.1500-1650). The mount is composed of an openwork frame shaped as a stylised arrow. The broadest end has a lobe that is pierced by a single rivet hole, with the remains of the iron rivet in situ. The frame arches outwards before tapering quickly down towards the other terminal which has two projecting lobes and damage suggesting it was originally a trefoil-shaped terminal pierced by a single rivet hole. A copper alloy, post Medieval, mount or lid. AD.1650-1850. The object is rectangular in shape. It has an external border surrounding a central rectangular shape. The border is beaded and runs around all four sides of the piece. The central field has cross-hatched decoration. The rear of the piece is undecorated except for three knops, two are opposed in the concave rear of the border while the third is situated in the centre of the back. An incomplete copper alloy hemispherical mount, probably post medieval in date, AD.1500-1800. The mount comprises a domed hemisphere with a concave back. The front of the object is heavily pitted and appears to be undecorated. Projecting from the centre of the back of the object is a single integrally cast rivet that has a roughly square shank and a slightly domed tip. A complete, copper alloy, Late Medieval- Post Medieval leather mount, AD.1400-1600. The mount comprises a flat plate divided into three sections. The first section is an oval shaped lobe, this is attached to the top of a tapering oval the point of which is attached to the top of a trefoil with the point facing down. A late medieval -Early Post Medieval copper alloy leaf shaped mount AD.1450-1550. The mount is triangular in shape with a trefoil at the top end forming the stem and smaller leaves. The ovals are of different lengths, the smallest contains a rough openwork heart while the larger is made up of two open work pelta designs separated by a central bar. Post medieval copper alloy mount shaped like an arrowhead, AD.1600-1700. The mount is shaped like a barbed arrowhead with a spherical knop at the point, the edges of the arrow are bevelled downwards and the upper surface retains evidence for tinning. The reverse has two projecting rivets that have been bent over in order to attach the object. See Read 2001 no.322,324 and 330 for similar parallels. Incomplete copper alloy, post medieval mount with traces of possible black enamelling AD.1500-1600. The mount is a symetrical flat design of two circular lobes with a horizontal bar separating them. The reverse of the mount has two long projections that emerge from opposite ends of the object, these are then bent at a right angle mid-way along their length and positioned so that their ends almost meet. Incomplete, post medieval, copper alloy, square mount with traces of surface gilding and four in situ rivets AD.1500-1700. This is a lozenge shaped mount with a domed centre that would originally have been decorated, though the object is now worn and the design is illegible.
