A complete, copper alloy, Post Medieval, coin weight of James I AD.1603-1625. The coin weight is worn, however, the obverse has XXXIII stamped across the face, set within a pelleted circular border. There is a crowned I in the top left corner of the weight. The reverse is more worn and likely depicts a shield within a wreath.
The coin weight is probably for a rose ryal of James I (1603 - 1625), 2nd coinage revalued (Withers P. & B.R. Lions, Ships and Angels Galata Print. Powys). see also WAW-6D7747
