An incomplete lead alloy pewter knife scabbard top locket dating from AD 1550-1600. The top locket is formed of a wide cylindrical band with an incomplete decoratively openwork fretted plate below (which would have fitted over the wooden scabbard) and a tapering arched plate above with an integral horizontal projecting pierced lug on the rear to attach to a belt. A Post Medieval silver gilt single sharp-hooked tag dating from AD 1500-1650. This a Read Class D, Type 6. The hood tag is a scalloped edged trefoil shaped in plan with three domed bosses with within rope twist borders around a central pellet with three additional pellets in angles. There is a separate hook and bar soldered on reverse. Reed (2008:74 no.245) illustrates a similar example and was recorded on the PAS database SF8565. A Post Medieval cast copper alloy Antwerp coin weight dating from AD 1500 - 1650. The weight is sub-square and features standing figure of St. Ladislaus, with the letters H D either side indicating that it is for weighing a Hungarian dukat (3.50g). Obverse: Standing figure of St Ladislaus holding orb and long axe, with an H on the left and a D on the right, within a circular border. Complete Medieval to Post-Medieval, sub-circular, biface, lead alloy token dating from AD 1400-1800. This is a Powell type 1 token. The obverse face has a six-petalled flower with pellets between the petals. The reverse of the token is decorated with an indistinct motif. Lead alloy tokens were used for many purposes during the Medieval and Post Medieval periods, and cast by both large and small industries. They are therefore very difficult to date, but those with initials are thought to date to the Post Medieval period. Dimensions: diameter: 22.09m; weight: 8.87g
