A Post Medieval copper alloy mount dating from AD 1500-1700. The mount is in the form of a double rose. The front has a central disc of florets, six inner and six outer leaves. The outer leaves are divided by a sepal. The mount has two integral pointed spikes for attachment at the back, these have a rectangular cross-section and are bent-over. Dimensions: diameter: 19.81mm; thickness: 6.11mm; weight: 4.73g Similar mounts on the database are WILT-A14ABB and WILT-40C834.
