An incomplete Medieval to Post-Medieval (1350-1700) copper alloy double oval buckle frame, missing its pin. It measures 30.73x19.19mm (internal loops 13.36x9.15mm) and is 2.57mm thick. It weighs 3.30g. The loops are slightly angled on their outside edges, and are decorated to the top with diagonal and transverse grooves, although much of the decoration is lost due to wear and loss of patination.

A complete silver post medieval bodkin dating from the 17th century. The bodkin has been bent in two places at almost 90 degrees, both close to the (sharp) point. In shape it has a rounded terminal end 4.2mm wide and narrows to point, 0.6mm wide. The bodkin is hexagonal in cross section and has a longitudinal rectangular slot and a circular hole at the terminal end. There is no decoration on the bodkin. Part of a post-medieval (1500-1700) lead-alloy seal cloth consisting of disc one. Part of the squashed rivet remains on the reverse of disc one, and a small part of the connecting strip on one edge. The seal disc is circular, and the edges have been bent out of shape, though the disc is complete. Disc two is missing. The seal depicts a swan standing left (from the viewer's perspective) in low relief, with the letters MES on the left and *V on the right. An incomplete silver Post Medieval (c.1660-1720) double-oval buckle frame with anchor-shaped chape and pin. The outside edge of one loop is missing. The buckle is decorated with a groove defining the edge of each loop and a shallow ledge beyond. A Late Medieval/ Early Post-Medieval Venetian silver soldino of Doge Leonardo Loredan (1501-1521). It is worn and has a die axis of 8. On the reverse to the left of the figure there is an 'X' scratched onto the coin. During the 15th and 16th centuries the English economy experienced a serious shortage of English-struck halfpennies. In order to fill this gap people began using foreign coinage such as the soldino, meaning 'little shilling', which entered into English currency through Venetian traders.

A copper alloy handle from a post-medieval object, probably a saucer-type candle-holder. The object is circular in shape with three roughly equidistant mouldings to the outside surface. Two of these are pointed triangular (in side view) projections, one of which has a worn break at its point. The other is a flat sub-oval or 'shield' shaped plate. There is no decoration on the handle. It measures 26.9mm in length, 28.2mm in width, 6.0mm in height and weighs 7.81g. The diameter of the centre of the handle is 20.7mm. Two copper alloy studs or hob nails, found close together. The heads are conical in shape and c.4mm long, being slightly concave to the underside from where the square-sectioned shank extends. All have smooth, shiny patinas of mid to light green in colour. 1) 8.7mm diameter head, 12.5mm length, 1.03g weight 2) 9.6mm diameter head, 10.2mm length (the shank is curved). 1.06g weight Usually made of iron, hob nails of similar form often date to the Roman or post-medieval period. An early 20th century lead alloy seal from a Johnny Walker whiskey bottle, displaying the arms of Kilmarnock on both faces (shield with hand in benediction above, and squirrel supporters at sides). A more detailed report of such seals can be found in LIN-05F723, with references to others on the PAS database therein. The seal measures 10.6mm in diameter, 1.7mm in thickness, and weighs 1.52g.

An incomplete post-medieval (c.1500-1800) iron Jew's harp missing the tongue and part of one of the prong-like arms (old break). The harp consists of a rounded C-shaped end which extends to two prongs, which would have rested in the mouth. There is a groove on the centre of the rounded end where the tongue would have attached. It is lozenge shaped in cross section. The iron of the harp is corroded, and is a dark orangey brown colour. The harp measures 60.8mm in length, 31.6mm in width, and is 7.3mm at maximum thickness. The prongs measure 36.2mm and 20.8mm in length. The harp weighs 19.55g.

A post medieval apparently uniface lead alloy token of Powell Type 3, dating from 1550 to 1800 AD. One side is decorated with eight equidistant arms radiating from the centre, creating a cartwheel pattern. The token has been damaged and has a fold in the centre. The reverse is probably undecorated. The token is an irregular circular shape with uneven edges. It is a white-grey colour. The token measures 24.4mm in length, 21.7mm in width, 3.1mm in thickness and weighs 7.69g.

A Post Medieval cast lead alloy uniface token dating from c. AD 1550-1800. Powell Type 2. The token is decorated on one side with a capital 'W' created with two overlapping V's. The reverse is blank. The token has an even dark grey colour. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture and distribute; they are therefore difficult to date precisely, but those with initials are thought to date to the Post Medieval period.

A complete post-medieval copper-alloy casket key. The key has a kidney shaped bow with two internal projections at the stem end. On the shoulders underneath the bow there are three decorative collars which are worn. The stem extends to a projecting pin below the bit which is narrow, rectangular and uncut.
