Unusually wide post medieval cast copper alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle frame with one D-shaped and one trapezoid loop. The D-shaped loop curves out at the centre of the outer edge to create a projecting point in the shape of an ogee arch. The loops are trapezoid in section with bevelled sides and a flat back although the outer edge of the trapezoid loop is worn to an oval shape. The sises of the D-shaped loop are slightly wider. Copper alloy apothecaries weight for 2 scruples. It is rectangular and flat and stamped on both sides with the traditional symbol for 2 scruples (like a backwards capital E joined to a y with two dots above it) with a star above. It measure 12.3mm long, 10.5mm wide and is 2.8mm thick. It weighs 2.39 grams. This type of weight was in use from 1618 AD to the 19th century.

Post Medieval cast copper-alloy terminal (stop) for a scale-tang knife handle. The stop is in the form of a pair of bifurcating horses hooves with deep incised lines between the pair and seperating the 'hooves' from the 'shoes' which are indicated by an incised central line for the frog, raised calkins at the ends and four punched indents for nail holes on each 'shoe'. Post Medieval composite sheet copper-alloy button. The front and back are made of two pieces of copper alloy sheet soldered together, the separate copper alloy wire shank is missing. The front is convex with a central raised boss an an incised line around the edge. The back is now concave but parallels and the off centred form of the indent suggest it was originally convex and has been damaged. The chape has two cylindrical tubes at one end with the remains of a tube from the pin between them, around these is the rusted remains of the seperate iron spindle which would have gone through the tubes and into the buckle frame at either side. Cast copper alloy toy cannon of probable 18th-century date, with part of the gun carriage attached. The cascable (closed end) of the cannon is domed and there is a pronounced base ring. The small vent hole, blocked with mud, is half way between the base ring and first reinforce ring. The second reinforce ring has roughly semicircular expansions to each side, on the muzzle side of the ring, from which project the short trunnions. The mount is sub-rectangular in plan with expanded trefoil terminals and semi-circular projections on either side at the centre. Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop buckle frame. The frame has two oval loops which have bevelled backs and bevelled and slightly widened outer edges, one with a transverse groove for a pin rest in the centre. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed with lobed knops at either end. The buckle has a reddish brown surface with areas of green patina. It is 22.6mm long, 17.7mm wide, 2.1mm thick and weighs 2.33 grams. Whitehead (2003) illustrates a similar buckle (page 54, No.307) which lacks the grooves on the loops, which he dates to c.1500-1650 AD.

Rim sherd from a 16th to 17th century German stoneware jug. The rim is c.45mm in internal diameter and has a plain, rounded, top. Running around the outer side are several raised rings. The fabric is pale grey with rare-sparse (1-5%) very fine sand inclusions. It has an almost clear glaze on the outerside which appears mid olive where it is thicker between the raised rings and a pale brown glaze on the inner side. It weighs 7.98 grams.

Fragment of a late 15th to 16th century jug handle formed of three strands twisted together in the 'barley-twist style'. The fabric is mid orange on the outer side and a pale grey reduced core, at one end the outer orange layer is thinner than the other. There are a few traces of white slip painted in lines along the creases of the twist. There is patchy remains of an pale olive glazed appearing pale yellow-green over the slip. Post-Medieval silver pedestal type seal matrix. The seal face is oval with a design of a heart pierced by two arrows in saltire all within a pellet border. The pedestal has six facets and narrows sharply from the face to the top. On one of the side facets is engraved an initial I. The upper terminal of the pedestal is broken, only the lower part of two loops and the three-stepped collar below the loops remain. Several cracks in the upper part of the pedestal may relate to this break. The face is 14.2 by 12.3mm.

The upper surface is rectangular in plan with one end (the strap attachment end) expanded into a scalloped fishtailed end. The opposite end widens into a bar from which projects a hook. The reverse is similar in plan with the hook end expanded into a bar, now partly lost to old breaks but missing the hook and with the fluting at the strap attachment end is replaced by a straight but widened end.
