An uniface, post-medieval lead-alloy token dating to c AD 1500-1700 (Powell type 12). The token is broadly circular but has damage in places and is slightly bent. The decorated side has a plain equal armed cross extending to the edges of the token and a crude, irregular chevron consisting of three radiating lines in each quarter. The reverse is fairly smooth and was probably plain. The surface is eroded and the patina mostly grey with beige areas. The token weighs 1.85g and has a diameter of 16.0mm and a thickness of 1.3mm.. Post Medieval or possibly Late Medieval cast copper alloy button. The button has a circular head with a steeply domed top with a prominent pellet in the centre of the front. The front is decorated with regularly spaced raised ridges running from the pellet to the edge. The back of the head is flat and from it projects an integral, elongated oval, loop. Incomplete Post Medieval lead-alloy Somerset alnage cloth seal. Only part of one of the inner pair of four discs survives with part of the joining tab to one side. The other disc in the inner pair, and the outer pair with their peg and hole for attaching the seal to cloth are missing. The surviving disk is stamped with an unclear central design, probably an S or a 5, encircled by the legend 'SO[ME]RSET' within an outer bead border. Unclear lead alloy folding implement or possibly a toy. The piece has an outer case or sheath formed of a strip of lead sheet bent in half to create a long U-shaped piece, one long edge pushed closed and the other left open and with a cicular lead alloy rivet through 'open' short end. The folded end is square while the other 'open' end is rounded. The rivet linking the 'open' ends creates a hinge on which a second lead alloy element clearly hinged, coming out of the open side.
