Post medieval gilded copper alloy mount of probably later 16th or 17th century date. The mount has a rectangular plate with integral openwork projections to each long side and integral attachment spikes on the back. The front is decorated with an elaborated design of cast raised ropework lines and pellets. Copper alloy and iron bow corkscrew acting as a handle for a further unidentified iron tool, possibly a key or pipe related. The piece has a well preserved copper alloy bow with a semi-circular upper part which entends down at the base into a projection. At the end of the projection the arms of the bow flank a hinge for the iron corkscrew which would have folded into the bow. Only a small amount of the screw now remains, part attached to the hinge and part to the top of the bow, possibly concreted into the second tool. Post medieval silver openwork buckle frame, probably a shoe buckle, dating to AD 1769 to 1793. The buckle frame is oval and distinctly arched with the short edges (top and bottom edges) convex curved. The buckle was in two pieces when found, about a quarter had become detached, and has been repaired with the solder visible on the back. The front is decorated with a moulded design of four quatrefoils flanked by scrolling and openwork. One flower is in the centre of each side. Post Medieval copper alloy mount or stud with a flat top and single integral rivet on the back. The top is cast with a raised design on the front and slight concavities behind the design on the back. The design is of a central flower with four fluer de lis projecting out from it at right angles creating a cross shape. An incomplete cast lead-tin alloy (pewter) spoon dating to the mid-17th century. The fragment comprises part of the bowl and the beginning of the stem, the rest has been lost along with the knop. The bowl is a round or large oval form with a semi-circular top at the junction with the stem, Homer (1975:46) type ' c' or 'd'. The edge of the bowl is damaged with old breaks around the sides and the front and back surfaces are worn and pitted. An incomplete copper alloy late Medieval to Post Medieval buckle frame dating to the period cAD1450 - 1600. Only one loop of the double loop oval buckle remains. It has a serrated outer edge, and a sheet copper alloy pin wrapped around the bar. Only small sections of the other loop survive, with worn breaks. The buckle measures 12.3mm in length, 14.8mm in width and is 1.0mm thick; it weighs 0.83g including the pin. A similar example can be found in Whitehead (2003:60), no. 356 which he dates to AD 1450-1600.

A complete uniface coin weight for a German dukat (or ducat) of Post-Medieval date, AD 1500-1700. The object is square and flat with one side stamped with a design of a standing figure of St. Ladislaus holding an orb in his left hand and a short axe in his right hand. Made in Germany or the Low Countries. Post Medieval copper alloy finger ring with posy inscription on the inner side. The ring has a D-shaped section and is formed of a strip soldered together at the ends. The join is visible and the white metal solder now projects, probably as the surface it used to abut has corroded away. The inscription is worn but reads 'I loue V til death' (I love you until death) in italic script. There are no traces of gilding visible but the exterior surface in patricular is very corroded. The hoop is distorted to an oval shape, 26.0mm by 14.8mm, 4.2mm wide and 1.7mm thick. It weighs 2.39 grams.…
