The end of the handle and about half the length of a slip topped lead-tin (pewter) spoon of xx date. The handle is is hexagonal in section with a slightly narrower back than front and ends in a corroded break towards the centre of the handle. The handle widens and thickens gradually towards the terminal. The slip top end is slightly expanded and broken around the lower edge with corroded breaks. Copper-alloy single-looped 'D' shaped Post-Medieval buckle frame, incomplete in so far as it is missing its pin. It has concave curved top and bottom sides. The strap bar is narrowed and recessed. The outer side is convex curved with a single lobed knop projecting from the centre, the knop is emphasised by diagonal grooves running across the frame, flanking the inner edges. The reverse is concave, apart from the strap bar. Length: 26.1mm, Width: 22.8mm, Thickness: 2.9mm, Weight: 2.33g. A very similar example may be seen in Whitehead (2003, 28; ref.145) which he dates to c.AD 1500-1650.

Post Medieval copper alloy mount, probably related to hooked mounts of similar form. The mount has a circular mid-section, domed with a convex front and concave back. From the domed section at one end projects a flat lobed terminal flanked by smaller lobes. At the other is a flat projecting terminal which starts with a circle with an attachment hole thorugh the centre and a small projecting lobed terminal. Broken Post Medieval copper alloy mount with integral attachment spikes, about 50% of which survives. The front of the mount is bar shaped with a convex front and slightly concave back. an oval lobe at one end and double collar across a constiction before the broken end. It is likely there was a second oval love, now lost. One integral rivet remains. Post Medieval - modern copper alloy locking belt hanger for keys or a purse. The hanger has a oblong 'lock' at the top from which a rectangular sectioned bar descends before curving forward to create a hook. At the end of the hook is a hinge and the remains of the closing bar. There is an elongated oval loop on the back of the 'lock' and bar through which the belt would have been threaded, the top projects slightly above the lock and is worn and thinned from use. Copper alloy and iron bow corkscrew acting as a handle for a further unidentified iron tool, possibly a key or pipe related. The piece has a well preserved copper alloy bow with a semi-circular upper part which entends down at the base into a projection. Post medieval silver openwork buckle frame, probably a shoe buckle, dating to AD 1769 to 1793. The buckle frame is oval and distinctly arched with the short edges (top and bottom edges) convex curved. The buckle was in two pieces when found, about a quarter had become detached, and has been repaired with the solder visible on the back. An incomplete cast lead-tin alloy (pewter) spoon dating to the mid-17th century. The fragment comprises part of the bowl and the beginning of the stem, the rest has been lost along with the knop. The bowl is a round or large oval form with a semi-circular top at the junction with the stem, Homer (1975:46) type ' c' or 'd'. The edge of the bowl is damaged with old breaks around the sides and the front and back surfaces are worn and pitted. An incomplete copper alloy late Medieval to Post Medieval buckle frame dating to the period cAD1450 - 1600. Only one loop of the double loop oval buckle remains. It has a serrated outer edge, and a sheet copper alloy pin wrapped around the bar. Only small sections of the other loop survive, with worn breaks. The buckle measures 12.3mm in length, 14.8mm in width and is 1.0mm thick; it weighs 0.83g including the pin. A similar example can be found in Whitehead (2003:60), no. 356 which he dates to AD 1450-1600.
