Post Medieval lead two disk cloth seal with a large letter A flanked with annulets and with an annulet below all within a pellet border on one side and with a pinecone in a cusped border on the other. The tab that would have joined the two disks is missing from an old break. It is 21.2mm by 18.5mm and 3.6mm thick; it weighs 6.87 grams. The design indicates it is from a mixed linen-warp and cotton weft fabric from Augsberg, Germany, dating to the 16th or 17th century. Cf. Egan (1994) nos.308-10.
