Post medieval cast lead tin alloy button. The button is circular with a flat front. The rim is slightly stepped back from the front but is chipped all the way around with old breaks. On the front is a moulded or stamped design of a rose. The back is recessed within the stepped back rim. It has a large central domed projection with two circular holes which would have previously held the seperate wire loop. It is now 18.6mm in diameter, 4.8mm thick and weighs 3.26 grams. Post Medieval cast copper alloy sword belt fitting. It is roughly foliate in form, with incised decoration forming a leaf pattern. It has a trefoil shaped terminal at one end below which it narrows before widening to rounded shoulders. About a third of the way down from the shoulders it tapers to the other end where there are two lugs flanking a forward projecting hook. Post Medieval copper alloy jetton, probably an anonymous issue made in Nuremberg, 'Lion of Saint Mark' type, c. 1540 - c. 1570 AD; cf. Mitchiner (1998:359, 362-364) ref. 1113-1120. The jetton has lost part of the flan (c.5%) to one side. The loss is an incurved line, a feature seen on many jettons and probably original from cutting the circular flan in a way that overlapped a previous removal from the sheet. It is 27.6mm in diameter, 0.8mm thick and weighs 3.42 grams.

Post Medieval copper alloy strap fitting with a elongated shield shaped plate and a hook at one end with a zoomorphic terminal. The plate had a diagonal line across the front in the form of a wide groove flanked by narrow lines. It has broken along the groove and the base (pointed) end of the shield is missing. Above the groove, placed diagonally, are two attachment holes. The holes have been punched through from the front and are surrounded by iron corrosion. The button has a slightly convex fornt with a raised circular central boss and a concave back. the boss has a flattened top and is surrounded by a ring of small pellets. Post medieval cast copper-alloy button with a convex front and a integral attachment loop set off centre in the flat back. The loop is flat with a semi circular top and has a circular hole drilled through it. The hole is surrounded by iron corrosion. The front of the button is decorated with a worn but moulded design of an elaborate floreate cross with large spirals in the quarters and possibly a face in the centre. Post Medieval cast copper alloy hooked fitting. The fitting is formed of a single strip of copper alloy bent at 180 degrees one third of the way along its length. The end of the longer piece has a forward projecting knop on the front of the terminal. It is rectangular in section and expands gradually in width from the terminal on the longer piece to the other end where it angles in to a long point. Post Medieval cast copper alloy double loop buckle frame. The loops are D-shaped in plan and section with a flat back. In the centre of the outer edge of each loop is a bi-lobed heart shaped moulding, the point of which projects on the inner side of the loop and the lobes on the outer. The strap bar is narrowed with large rounded knops at either end. The pin is missing. It is 40.3mm long by 26.5mm wide by 2.0mm thick; it weighs 6.96 grams. Whitehead (2003: 71) illustrates similar frames which he dates to c.1600-1720 AD although none with this particular shape of moulded decoration
