Description: An incomplete silver button of post medieval date. The fragment is made of a thin sheet of silver, probably originally circular but with the surviving fragment being broadly tongue-shaped. The front of the button is decorated in low relief with a crude depiction of a crowned female bust facing forwards within a circular border. The figure has loose hair and a rosette at their breast and potentially also topping their crown. The central rosette is flanked by the detail of the collar which is depicted…
