Post medieval silver sixpence, probably of William III (1694-1702), date unclear. The coin has been bent in two places into an S-shape in profile. Coins treated in this way are commonly believed to have been given as love tokens. The design is completely worn on both sides but it is not clear if this is due to natural circulation wear or part of the deliberate modification.
