Post Medieval French silver 1/16 ecu (5 sols) of Louis XIIII dating to c. AD 1700-1715. Mint unclear. The coin has been pierced at 1 o'clock on the obverse, 5 o'clock on the reverse with a circular hole drilled from the obverse near the edge. Tt is bent over so the obverse is convex and the reverse concave; the current diameter is therefore less than that of the original coin.
