Description: A small hoard consisting of two silver coins: a sixpence and a shilling of William III, found in the same place in a cultivated field in Backwell, North Somerset.
1. A silver shilling of William III (1694-1702), first bust, irish arms at date, minted at London, dated 1697 on coin, Spink 3497. This is a known but extremely rare variant.
