Post medieval silver openwork buckle frame, probably a shoe buckle, dating to AD 1769 to 1793. The buckle frame is oval and distinctly arched with the short edges (top and bottom edges) convex curved. The buckle was in two pieces when found, about a quarter had become detached, and has been repaired with the solder visible on the back. The front is decorated with a moulded design of four quatrefoils flanked by scrolling and openwork. One flower is in the centre of each side.
