A Post-Medieval coarse glazed earthenware dish, broken by a spade at the time of recoverey and susequently restored.
Lorraine Mepham, Wessex Archaeology, comments 'These coarse glaxed earthenwares are tricky to date more closely, but my best guess would be no earlier than 18th century, though it could be as late as 20th century. The source is likely to be fairly local, possibly Ashton Keynes ware.'
