An incomplete copper alloy Post-Medieval (1550-1650) double oval buckle frame missing almost one complete loop and the pin. It measures 31.82x29.71x2.67mm and weighs 4.3g. The surviving outside edge has a triangular projection with moulded decoration in the form of a six-petalled flower. There are also triangular mouldings at either end of the axis bar. Cf. Whitehead (2003) p. 66, no. 408, which he dates to c.1550-1650.

An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1600) copper alloy solid conical button with integral drilled shank, standing 16.47mm tall and weighing 3.08g. It has a max.diameter at its base of 10.96mm. The body of the button has a central nipple at the centre of a raised-spoke design (ten spokes). The piercing in the shank is 2.54mm in diameter. Read (2005, p.36 no.115) illustrates a similar example which he dates to the 16th century and suggests may extend backwards into the late 15th century. Cf. also LEIC-F33DA6.

An Early Post-Medieval (c.1550-1650) copper alloy double-oval buckle frame with scallop-shell decoration and missing its pin. It measures 49.03x46.03mm (internal loops min. 11mm and 13mm x c.36mm) and weighs 20.25g. The frame is rather quatrefoil in shape, with the trapezoidal-sectioned axis bar between two internally and a single scallop-shell motif between the other two externally. Iron staining on the axis bar suggests the pin was of iron. Whitehead (2003) suggests a mid 16th-mid 17th century date for similar double oval buckles (cf. p.65). An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy sword belt fitting, consisting of a hooked plate which would have been one of three suspended from a larger mount. The hook is zoomorphic and rather bent to one side. The plate retains its two corroded rivets. Measures 48.15x(max)21.32x16.09mm and weighs 10.50g. The plate (c.2.4mm thick) has moulded decoration, some of which is rather worn. The end opposite to the hook is tripartite (max.width, 21.32mm), and apparently represents a bud between two leaves. A modern gold finger-ring, squashed and with a breaking bend at the back of the hoop. It is in rather scuffed condition. It measures 28.41mm in diameter (internal 25.16mm) and 9.22mm in max.width, at the bezel. It weighs 8.07g. The hoop is rectangular in cross-section, measuring 3.65x1.11mm at the back of the hoop. It widens a little to c.5x1.5mm just before the shoulders, which are triangular in shape and expand to 9.1mm at the bezel. The bezel is rectangular and c.8x9mm.
