An incomplete Early Post-Medieval to Modern (1500-1900) copper-alloy unidentified object, taking the form of a flat rectangular bar, broken at one end and with a (flat) zoomorphic terminal at the other. It measures 70.48x(max)12.02x2.74mm and weighs 10.70g. The bar is rectangular in cross-section (max.8.69x2.74mm) and narrows to the old, worn break (8.65mm wide). It measures 17.77x9.23x13.77mm, weighs 8.67g and is in the form of a horse's lower foot, upside down, with a human face projecting to one side. The object has an oval cross-section, 11.21x9.25mm at the join with the (missing) iron blade and 12.61x8.36mm at the end of the foot. An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy mount with a white-metal coating (probably tinning), apparently phallic in form but may also represent a stylised bird-in-flight. Measures 20.56x10.67x5.04mm (without the outward-bent spikes 17.64mm long) and weighs 1.65g. The mount is bifurcate at one end, waisted in the centre and cut in a triangle at the other end. To the reverse are two bent spikes for attachment to leather, one bent outwards, one to the side.

An incomplete Early Post-Medieval (1500-1625) cast copper alloy hooked tag of Read's Class E Type 1 (rectangular/sub-rectangular), missing the tip of its hook. Measures 25.94x12.11x6.13mm and weighs 1.92g. The solid rectangular plate(2.62mm thick) has an integral rectangular attachment loop at the top and an integral hook at the base. In the centre of the plate is a rectangular raised panel with worn linear groove. On either side of the plate are three regularly spaced knops, giving a crenellated outline. An undatable, but possibly Post-Medieval (1500-1700), uniface lead token cut roughly circular and measuring 13-14mm in diameter. Weighs 1.77g. Obverse: Cross pattée Although no exact parallel could be found during an initial search, the token looks rather like a miniature communion wafer, so a tentative religious connection is suggested, and if so, it could be possibly 16th or 17th century in date.

An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) cast copper alloy terminal from an 'apostle spoon', measuring 33.80mm in length, 14.47mm in max.width and 6.59mm in max.thickness. It weighs 8.87g. The spoon handle is entirely missing, and from the scar on the underside of the terminal, it was oval in cross-section. Post medieval sheet of copper alloy folded into a cone shape, with opening at either end. Just below the opening at the wider end is the remains of an iron rivet. Much of the object's original patina has been lost. It measures 35.6mm in length, is 0.8mm thick and weighs 4.02g. Although rather squashed, its 'diameters' are 13.4x9mm and 6.3x5.2mm. Quite proabbly a ferrule.

Incomplete Late Post Medieval lead alloy toy spoon, consisting of the bowl only. It is pointed oval in shape and measures 16.1x8.7mm. It weighs 1.07g. On the reverse at the base of the bowl is a rounded decoration, which would have been the end of the stem. A similar, slightly larger example in Forsyth & Egan, 2005, 3.13 (Type 7 Design 1), probably dates to the 18th century.

Incomplete and distorted sheet thimble: top with five-petalled rose, and most of walling (none of base survives) with rows of separate rings having central pits. An unusual type - see Holmes reference (a trawl through the English and Dutch literature found only above-ground survivals similar). This item appears to have a sufficient proportion of silver to qualify as potential Treasure under the Treasure Act currently in force. Reference: Cf. Holmes, EF 1976, Thimbles, Gill & Macmillan, Dublin, 15 fig.6b & d, assigned to the late 17th century.

Incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy pipe tamper, consisting of the tamping end and the stem only, and probably missing a decorative terminal/ handle. The circular tamping end is 11.2x12mm in diameter with a curved line of corrosino crossing it. It is otherwise flat. A rounded moulding flanks its join with the stem, which is 3-4mm in diameter in section. After a little way this expands abruptly to 7-8mm diameter and then gradually diminishes again to a double moulding before a 2.5mm diameter section of shank, just before the break. Post medieval copper alloy buckle, missing its pin. It measures 31.7x45.1mm (internal 19.4x35mm) and weighs 12.75g. The outside edge is 5.7mm wide and slopes downwards and outwards and has a groove flanking its outermost edge. There is a V-shaped groove for the pin at the centre of the innermost edge, which is also decorated with incised vertical lines. The corners are cut at an angle. The sides of the frame are rounded and defined on their upper edge as a wavy line. The axis bar is off set and square in section. 17th century.
