A very worn post-medieval Spanish copper-alloy coin, probably of Carlos II of Spain (1665-1700), Clemente and Cayon no. 7059-7103. Struck on an irregular flan with seven straight sides. It is also possible that the coin may be of Felipe IV of Spain (1621-65), 8 Maravedis, given the similarity of design, although this is less likely.
