An incomplete cast copper-alloy spectacled or double looped buckle frame of Post medieval date. The frame is complete and a small section of the corroded iron pin remains to the integrally cast internal strap bar. The buckle frame is formed from two D-shaped loops with rounded expanded outer edges, flanked by double pointed mouldings. The upper surface of these expanded edges has moulded decoration. The reverse of the frame is flat. The strap bar is narrow, straight and trapezoidal in cross section with a flat reverse. A lobed knob projects from either end of the strap bar. There are …

An incomplete fragment from a Post-Medieval copper-alloy sword-belt eye-section toggle fitting (c. 1500-c. 1700). The fitting only survives as the integral open and worn circular loop of the wider end of a larger composite device. This loop has a sub-rectangular cross-shaped aperture with rounded ends forming an eye. Attached to the loop is a smaller sub-circular off-set loop with a circular rivet hole. The upper face is decorated with an applied white metal - possibly tin or silvering - surface. The exterior edge is scalloped but eroded - originally probably being flower - rose like. It comprises a rectangular shaped loop from which which descends a tapering rectangular D sectioned bar whose terminal is cast to form a bulbous hook. It terminates in a rounded edge. A complete cast and decorated lead alloy tobacco box lid knop / handle. The knop is broadly oval in plan and irregular in profile. The central knop is decorated as a flower. It has a central raised boss, which expands into a series of radiating lentoid shaped petals. It is likely that these were originally coated with a black coloured surface which has since decayed.
