An incomplete cast copper-alloy spectacled or double looped buckle frame of Post medieval date. The frame is complete and a small section of the corroded iron pin remains to the integrally cast internal strap bar. The buckle frame is formed from two D-shaped loops with rounded expanded outer edges, flanked by double pointed mouldings. The upper surface of these expanded edges has moulded decoration. An incomplete fragment from a Post-Medieval copper-alloy sword-belt eye-section toggle fitting (c. 1500-c. 1700). The fitting only survives as the integral open and worn circular loop of the wider end of a larger composite device. This loop has a sub-rectangular cross-shaped aperture with rounded ends forming an eye. Attached to the loop is a smaller sub-circular off-set loop with a circular rivet hole.
