An incomplete copper-alloy purse bar of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1550-1650. Williams Class K.
The object comprises a central cylindrical block flanked by prominent ribs from which flat, wing-like bars emerge. One bar terminates in a worn break after the rib. The other bar curves sharply downwards before terminating in a worn break. The remaining bar has cast scrolling foliate designs on both sides and a circular perforation to the lower edge.
The metal has a dark green patina and is in fair condition. The object is 53.8mm long, 13.5mm wide, 6.7mm thick and weighs 15g.

An incomplete lead-alloy button of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1700.
The head of the button is discoidal with a convex front and flat back. The front face is decorated with a raised central pellet from which a four-armed cross extends. Each arm of the cross terminates in three flared branches. The spaces between each arm has raised ovate designs with solid ovate central knops.
The remains of a shank are present at the centre of the reverse, set on a casting line.

An incomplete lead-alloy bag seal of late Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1797 – 1900.
The seal comprises a sub-rectangular strip of metal folded in half and broken at each end. A separate strip is present within the fold. The outer surface is stamped with IOSEPH / ROBERTS.
The metal has a light white/brown patina and is worn. The seal is 21mm long, 13.8mm wide, 6.7mm thick and weighs 5.6g.

A complete lead-alloy cloth seal of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1700 – 1900.
The cloth seal is of the two-disc type joined by an integral strip and sealed by a central rivet.
One surface is stamped with text around the edge reading FRANCIS MAUDE WAKEFIELD around an interlaced design of the letters F/M//W flanking a vertical line topped by the number 4.
The metal has a mid-brown patina and is in fair condition. The seal is 41.7mm long, 29.9mm in diameter, 5.6mm thick and weighs 17.8g.

A complete lead-alloy bag seal of late Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1800 – 1900.
The seal is circular with worn edges and a roughly rectangular cross section. It is comprised of a single disc of metal which is perforated by two holes running parallel across its diameter through which wire or textile ligatures would have fitted to secure a bag.
One face is stamped with DEPOSE above a cornucopia. Surrounding text is present though cannot be sufficiently determined. The other side has three lines of text within a further ring of text. This is again too worn to be read.

An incomplete copper alloy Jew's harp (or Jaws harp) of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1500 - 1800.
The object is lozengiform in section and comprises a sub circular head with two tapering prongs. A rabbat (notch) on one side at the apex of the head would have accommodated the iron tongue, now missing, though iron corrosion does remain. Both prongs taper to rounded points.
The metal has a mid-green/brown patina and is worn. The object is 57.2mm in length, 24.6mm in width at the head, 7mm in thickness and weighs 10.9g.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1570 - 1700.
The buckle is approximately two thirds of a double loop trapezoid with a D-shaped section. One end and side are lost to worn breaks and the pin no longer remains.
The metal has a mid to light green patina and is worn. The buckle is 31.5mm long, 24.3mm wide, 2mm thick and weighs 2.5g.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1575 - 1700.
The buckle is a double looped asymmetrical shape with moulded decoration on the loops. It has a D-shaped section with a flat reverse and bevelled edges. The outer edge of the rectangular loop bears six lobed knops and two further knops are present at symmetrical points on the outer curved edge. Lobed protrusions also project from either end of the strap bar. The pin no longer remains.
The metal has a mid-green/grey patina and is worn. The buckle is 22.9mm long, 19.6mm wide, 2.6mm thick and weighs 3.3g.

The buckle is sub-ovate with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. The spindle remains and is coated in a thick layer of iron corrosion. The frame is undecorated with bevelled edges.
The metal has a dark brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 32.9mm long, 23.9mm wide, 5.8mm thick and weighs 6.2g.

The object is two fragments of a trapezoidal shoe or knee buckle with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. The sides of the buckle have moulded knops to either side of the spindle holes. The spindle and pin no longer remain.
The metal has a mid-brown patina and is worn. The buckle is 34.7mm long, 22.3mm wide, 4.5mm thick and weighs 4.5g.

An incomplete copper-alloy hinged book or casket fitting of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1700.
The fitting comprises an openwork sub-rectangular main plate which tapers to one end and extends to form a fleur-de-lis shaped terminal. A small iron rivet remains off-centre of this terminal. An integral rectangular hinge loop projects from the centre of the opposite end of the main plate with a second iron rivet through it. A copper-alloy axis bar remains through the loop though both ends are broken and worn.

Only the domed front plate of the button remains which is circular with a convex front and hollow reverse. The upper domed surface is decorated with a faintly incised quatrefoil. The reverse is undecorated.
The metal has a dark brown patina and is in fair condition. The button is 13.6mm in diameter, 1.7mm thick and weighs 1.1g.

The mount is circular with a domed profile. The front of the mount is convex, with a double banded circumferential border.
The reverse is concave with two partial sub-rectangular projections (lugs, or integral rivets) on either side. The lugs terminate in worn breaks.
The metal has a dark red patina with patchy green corrosion product across the surface. A small shiny grey area of possible tinning is present close to the edge. The object is 17.1mm in diameter, 7.3mm thick and weighs 2.5g.
