An almost complete copper alloy strap mount of post-medieval date. The mount comprises a central lozenge shaped element with concave reverse from which two openwork trefoil terminals project. Each of the trefoil terminals ends with a triangular projection from the reverse of which attachment spikes project, though one has now been lost to old worn breaks. The metal has a mid brownish-red patina and is worn. The mount is 55.9mm long, 15.6mm wide, 4.6mm thick and weighs 8.2g. A complete cast copper alloy belt mount of Post-Medieval date. The mount is sub-trapezoidal in shape with a narrowed waist and flattened corners. On the reverse are two integrally cast rivets, both of which are bent inwards and would have held the object in place on the belt. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is undecorated and worn. The mount is 27.5mm long, 17.9mm wide, 6.6mm thick and weighs 3.8g.

A complete cast copper alloy belt mount of Post-Medieval date. The mount is a quatrefoil in plan with a small rounded knop at recessed waist of each lobe. From the reverse two attachment spikes project both of which are bent inwards and a small piece of fabric or leather is retained. The metal has a mid reddish-green patina and is worn. The mount is 22.5mm long, 21.2mm wide, 6.4mm thick and weighs 3.4g.

A complete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is a double looped oval with a narrowed and recessed strap bar with moulded knops to either end. The pin remains in tact looped over the strap bar. The metal has a mid greyish-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 29.3mm long, 17.5mm wide, 3.2mm thick and weighs 3.3g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead p.54, no.307 and is dated to circa AD 1500 - 1650.

An incomplete cast copper alloy spur fragment of post-medieval date. The spur fragment consists of a short portion of the D-shaped sectioned arm with figure-of-eight terminal. Two separately cast copper alloy mounts which would have attached the spur to the leather around a shoe still remain on both loops of the terminal. The mounts are cruciform in plan with bulbous ends through which iron rivets still remain. The opposite ends form a loop to attach to the figure of eight terminal. One face is decorated with a central recessed circular cell within which is an indeterminate lozenge shaped design. An incised letter S is present at each quarter. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal is a mid brownish-grey colour and is worn. The main plate is decorated with a moulded openwork design with a central chequered lozenge - possibly representing a pinecone. An almost complete cast copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is a sub annular shoe or knee buckle with a separate spindle. The spindle remains along with part of the chape though its terminal is lost due to an old break. The surface of the buckle is decorated with multiple moulded transverse grooves. The pin no longer remains. The metal is a mid greenish-brown colour and is worn. The buckle is 23.4mm long, 17.3mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 3.2g. Similar examples can be seen in Whitehead, p.98 and date to circa 1660 - 1720.

The tag is oval with three attachment knops projecting from the body, two placed centrally at opposing sides of the longer edges and one placed centrally on the shorter, pointed edge. A rectangular collar is present along the other short edge which would have formed the base of the "eye" of the tag into which its partner hook would have slotted. One face is stamped with a now indistinct shield and while faint traces of a design are also present on the other face it is not possible to determine its exact form. The weight of the object suggests it was intended for weighing the rose ryal (30s). The rose ryal was minted from 1620 onward and square coin weights went out of use after 1632.
